On the other hand, the problem of delegitimation relects a failure of political parties to conduct the politic recruitment and therefore can not produce proper candidates to contest the elections. Therefore, political parties should be forced to conduct an internal selection to elect the prospective candidates in a transparent manner in making a list of candidates who will be nominated to contest the elections. It’s necessary for make the quality of electoral candidates could contribute positively to the election process to produce elected state administrators which are credible and capable for managing government responsibly. Keywords: Goverment Legitimacy, Nomination Process of Election Participants Abstrak Keterlibatan elite politik selaku penyelenggara negara dalam praktik korupsi berdampak pada delegitimasi pemerintahan hasil pemilu karena mengindikasikan kegagalan pemerintah dalam menyelenggarakan pemerintahan secara bertanggung jawab. Di sisi lain, problem delegitimasi ini mencerminkan kegagalan partai politik dalam melakukan fungsi rekrutmen sehingga tidak dapat menghasilkan calon-calon kandidat yang berkualitas untuk mengikuti pemilu. Oleh sebab itu, partai politik harus dipaksa untuk melakukan seleksi internal bakal calon kandidat secara transparan dalam membuat daftar calon kandidat yang akan dicalonkan untuk mengikuti pemilu. Hal ini diperlukan agar kualitas kandidat peserta pemilu dapat berkontribusi positif dalam menghasilkan keterpilihan penyelenggara negara yang kredibel, kapabel, dan akuntabel untuk mengelola pemerintahan ke depan.
