This paper deals with the objective of finding the impact of social intelligence on employee performance and the effect of social intelligence on different age groups. This was analyzed based on seven different variability. The social intelligence was measured using four different dimensions viz., self-awareness, art of reading of others, conflict handling and relationship management. Likewise, the employee performance was measured by using nature of work, work flexibility and employee motivation. The sample size for the finding was 50 .The results found that 1) employees those who are having high level of social intelligence can adopt new skills in their work and can perform better. For second objective it was found that 2) social intelligence does not have different impact on different age groups. INTRODUCTION According to Edward Thorndike (1920),"the capacity to understand and manage men and women and girls, to act wisely in human relations." M Babu (2013), describes social intelligence as "the ability to deal efficiently and thoughtfully, keeping one’s own identity, employing opposite social inputs with a wider understanding of social environment; considering empathetic co-operation as a base of social acquaintance." Social intelligence is the ability to successfully direct and convey difficulty of social affairs and surroundings. Ross Honeywell (2015), affirms it is a combined degree of self and social-awareness, advanced social views with approaches, capacity and desire to be able
