These qualifications are very important because they determine preacher‟s credibility in undertaking their task in the society. As a communicator, preacher is supposed to meet his own standards or qualifications for the implementation of preaching can succeed as expected. Qur‟an as a guidance for da‟wa activities provides a variety of qualifications that should be authorized for a preacher. Quran requires for instance that a preacher should be from among their own people, due to closeness and equation: the language, culture and predisposition. The terms bi lughati qawmih, akhhum and minhum reflect the closeness. This concept is further reinforced by the emphasis on language similarities between the preacher and his audience (mad'ū). In addition, the quality of the message is emphasized by the Qur'an as reflected in the concept of preaching alba܈ra that the da‟wa material is supported by proofs, for example, findings of scientists in the laboratory. Including Qur‟anic concern is the personal quality of a preacher as reflected in eloquence, his position as a role model in knowledge and deeds which is symbolized by the concept of khayra umma.
