ANALISIS INVESTASI USAHA TERNAK KERBAU DI KECAMATAN WELAHAN KABUPATEN JEPARA S.N. UTAMI Jurusan Produksi Ternak, Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Diponegoro, Semarang ABSTRAK Suatu penelitian telah dilakukan untuk mengetahui besarnya pendapatan yang diperoleh dari usaha ternak kerbau, mengetahui tingkat profitabilitas usaha ternak kerbau, dan mengetahui kelayakan investasi usaha ternak kerbau. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode survey dan metode analisis data menggunakan perhitungan pendapatan, profitabilitas, Payback Period, Net Present Value, Benefit Cost Ratio, dan Internal Rate of Return. Analisis statistik dengan SPSS 12 One Sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa usaha ternak kerbau di Kecamatan Welahan Kabupaten Jepara sangat menguntungkan. Pendapatan petani rata-rata yang diterima sebesar Rp 8.885.393,33 pada tahun 2006, Rp 10.451.476,67 pada tahun 2007, dan sebesar Rp 7.974.143,33 pada tahun 2008. Nilai sig t-hitung 0,000 < 0,005 Rata-rata profitabilitas usaha ternak kerbau pada tahun 2006 adalah sebesar 66,19%, tahun 2007 sebesar 66,95%, dan tahun 2008 sebesar 70,11%. Payback Period adalah 1 tahun 2 bulan, NPV (Net Present Value) bernilai positif sebesar Rp 10.932.902,49, Benefit Cost Ratio 1,84 > 1, dan Internal Rate of Return 46,07% > bunga kredit (14%). Kata kunci : kerbau, kecamatan welahan, kelayakan investasi THE INVESTMENT ANALYSIS OF BUFFALO FARMING IN WELAHAN SUBDISTRICT JEPARA REGENCY A study has been carried of to examine the estimate of income can be reached from the buffalo farming, to examine profitability index of Buffalo Farming, and to examine the investment properly of Buffalo Faming. This study has done at March 23 th until April 23 th 2009 in Welahan Subdistrict, Jepara Regency. A method used in this studi is survey method and the investment analysis used an income estimate, profitability index, Payback Period, Net Present Value, Benefit Cost Ratio, dan Internal Rate of Return. One Sample t-test were used to analyze the data observed. The results showed that the buffalo Farming in Welahan Subdistrict, Jepara Regency is benefit. The average of farmer income is Rp 8.885.393,33 at 2006, Rp 10.451.476,67 at 2007, and Rp 7.974.143,33 at 2008. Profitability index is 66,19% at 2006, 66,95% at 2007, and 70,11% at 2008. Payback Period 1 year 2 month, Net Present Value Rp 10.932.902,49, Benefit Cost Ratio 1,84 > 1, and Internal Rate of Return 46,07% > 14%.
