NAME : _________________ STRAND : _______________ Proposed tle no.1 : The Rate of Early Pregnancy among SHS Learners and it’s effect to their School Performances in Pulong Buhangin Naonal High School. REASON(s) / JUSTIFICATION(s) in choosing the topic : Teenage pregnancy is one of the major contemporary problems that our country encounters today. This dilemma has been a source of worry by the government because of its increasing rate from me to me and also serves as the main problem in some schools because of those teenage mothers who was sgmazed, ridiculed and abused by their co-learners and teachers and as a result, they choose not to enter school anymore and failed their classes. This study is essenal because It will impart knowledge to the youth especially to girls on how to escape early pregnancy. Most of the me, adolescent bearing is very disrupve to the educaonal aainment of the youths involved, because not all girls has the power to concur their child-bearing and school acvies. Also, teenage pregnancy has a lot of social consequences, and one of that is dropping out from school premises. (Cunningham and Boult, 1996) This research will observe the effects of Early pregnancy among the teenagers and in their academical performance in school. Selected students who had encountered teenage pregnancy will be quesoned about their struggles, pain and sensivity while bearing child and how they managed to concur pregnancy and learning at the same me. There will be also 30 respondents in an open-ended queson that will answer the soluons and remedies to eradicate teenage pregnancy, or how to handle it without failing the grades in school. The purpose of the study is to idenfy the rate of teenage pregnancy among the Senior High students In Pulong Buhangin Naonal High School, and how it affects their school performances and achievements. It will also give conclusions pertaining on how to eradicate teenage pregnancy in schools, and the soluons that will serves as the remedy for the teenagers mothers to concur school parcipaon and being mother to their child.
