Venezuela hernandezadrian85@gmail.com RESUMEN En este estudio propongo sacar a relucir un conjunto de cargas alegóricas que posee la novela El Pasajero de Truman de Francisco Suniaga. Esto llevado a cabo con la lectura minuciosa de cada uno de sus apartados, relacionando contextos temporales que van de un pasado lejano a un presente cotidiano, encontrando reflejado un paralelismo temporal entre las acciones que se dieron para el año 1945 y el primer decenio del siglo XXI en Venezuela, así como también la relación causa-consecuencia en los hechos pretéritos que por concatenación y lógica de los hechos, encausaron a la cotidianidad. Además, como elemento final, se hace un paralelismo alegórico entre la enfermedad que sufre el personaje de la obra con la realidad venezolana, concluyendo, dentro de este juego alegórico, con un elemento que apunta al señalamiento metafórico de un país que vive sumido en la insania. National insanity: allegorical study of Venezuela in El Pasajero de Truman by Francisco Suniaga ABSTRACT In this study I propose to bring to light a set of allegorical charges that has the novel The Passenger of Truman by Francisco Suniaga. This is carried out through a detailed reading of each of its sections, relating temporal contexts ranging from a distant past to a daily present, finding a temporal parallel between the actions that occurred for the year 1945 and the first decade of the century XXI in Venezuela, as well as the cause-consequence relationship in the past events that, through concatenation and logic of the facts, led to everyday life. In addition, as an end element, an allegorical parallelism is made between the illness that the character of the play undergoes with the Venezuelan reality, concluding, within this allegorical game, with an element that points to the metaphorical indication of a country that lives in the Insania Keywords: Venezuelan literature, allegories, novel, insania.
