Patterns of social and cultural life of the Village Tourism Palgading derived from the value of cultural, religious and local customs which then form the values of indigenous/local wisdom, one of which is indigenous/local wisdom in the management of space and environment. This study discusses the application of indigenous/local wisdom in the management of the environment in space and Tourism Village Palgading in order to preserve and maintain the sustainability of the Village Palgading as a tourist village. The analytical method used is descriptive exploratory analysis. The results showed that there are values of indigenous/local wisdom in the context of the provisions of the management of space in Village Tourism Palgading, namely the concept of space by forming tourist areas, land tenure systems. Local knowledge/local wisdom in the context of environmental management set about nature, farming, and management of water resources, as well as the maintenance of traditions in other environments contained in Palgading Tourism Village. Given values excavation indigenous/local wisdom is still relevant patterns are interpreted in social and cultural life of the community support the efforts of the management and preservation of the environment of space and tourist areas in Palgading village. PENDAHULUAN Pengertian Kearifan Lokal/local wisdom dilihat dari kamus Inggris Hornby; 1995, terdiri dari 2 (Dua) kata yaitu kearifan (wisdom) dan lokal (local). Local berarti setempat dan wisdom sama dengan kebijaksanaan, dapat juga dikatakan local wisdom dapat dipahami sebagai gagasan-gagasan, nilai-nilai-nilai, pandangan-pandangan setempat (local) yang bersifat bijaksana, penuh kearifan, bernilai baik, yang tertanam dan diikuti oleh anggota masyarakatnya. serta sumber kearifan berasal dari sang maha pencipta yang telah menyediakan ketersediaan sarana dan prasana bagi kehidupan manusia.
