Data collection techniques used were: questionnaire, interview, observation, analysis of content/documents, test, and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The results showed that the professional competence of the teachers on the mastery of the material were on the category of "less". This was supported by the average score of the test results of their Arabic language i. e., 52.23. While professional competence based on assessment of Principal was "good/high" with the average score of 4.6, the perspective of colleagues was "good/high” (average score 4). Based on students’ perspective, the professional competency of the Arabic language teacher at MAN Jakarta was "excellent/very high" with the average score of 90. Keywords: competence, professional, Arabic language teacher, MAN DKI Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kompetensi profesional guru bahasa Arab MAN DKI Jakarta, baik kompetensi pada aspek konten kebahasaaraban, maupun kompetensi profesional menurut kepala Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (atasan), teman sejawat maupun penilaian siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah:angket atau kuesioner, wawancara, observasi, analisis isi/dokumen, tes, dan diskusi terfokus atau Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi Profesional Guru Bahasa Arab MAN DKI Jakarta pada aspek penguasaan materi (konten) Bahasa Arab berada pada kategori “kurang sekali”. Hal ini didukung oleh nilai rerata hasil tes Bahasa Arab mereka yaitu 52.23. Sementara kompetensi Profesional perspektif Penilaian Atasan (kepala Madrasah Aliyah Negeri) berada pada kategori“baik/tinggi” dengan nilai rerata 4.6 (baik/tinggi), perspektif teman sejawat dalam kategori “baik/tinggi (nilai rerata 4). Selain itu data juga menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi profesional guru Bahasa Arab MAN DKI Jakarta menurut perspektif siswa berada dalam kategori “sangat baik/sangat tinggi” dengan skor rerata 90.
