Abstract
This study investigated the impact of monitoring on the implementation of Universal Basic Education
programme in primary schools in Zone B Senatorial District of Benue State, Nigeria. Two research questions
and two research hypotheses guided the study. The descriptive survey design was adopted for the study. The
population of the study comprised of 8252 teachers. A sample of 413 teachers from 43 selected primary schools
