A. History study. Late Mahdi took the pain of guiding, revising and editing this piece of work while on his sick-bed. This work being one of the few last academic researches he co-authored shortly before his medical tour to India has therefore, become a tribute to such an accomplished and renowned historian whose magnificent academic and moral teachings reached the broad mass of Nigeria, Africa and international communities. He taught us simplicity, humility, endurance, sincerity and hard work. Adieu Father and Rest in Eternal Peace, Sir.
