Devido ao seu espaço verdejante, esta varanda sobre o Rio Douro é um local com acentuado valor patrimonial e turístico. O Passeio das Virtudes é um legado de diversas épocas que chega aos nossos dias enquanto expressão da continuidade da tradição arquitetónica portuense e dos seus sistemas de construção. Housing in the Promenade of Virtudes: Typologies and materials used Abstract The present study is the product of an investigation that tried to expand the knowledge of the different housing typologies, as well as the construction materials and techniques used in the houses located on the Promenade of Virtudes. With its luxurious green areas, this balcony overlooking the Douro River is a location with significant heritage and touristic value.
