Shevchenka, 14, Kyiv, 01033, Ukraine POLYPHONY OF THE AUTHOR'S WORD OF PAVLO MOVCHAN AND VLADIMIR KOLOMIYETS (Poetics of floronyms and faunonyms) The article investigates the peculiarities of the functioning of floronyms and faunonyms in the individual language picture of the world. Particular attention is devoted to the study of word- formation features of the author's neologisms of Pavlo Movchan and Volodymyr Kolomiyets. The text of the article features stylistic features of the use of floronyms and faunonyms in poetic language. Comparative analysis has shown that the authors of the texts prefer the floronim. This feature is due to the high degree of symbolization of plant names. The floroms take part in the creation of bright poetic images, create mood, convey the inner state of the lyrical hero.
