The article discusses the possibilities of the ultrasound method in assessing the effectiveness of combined treatment of patients with ovarian cancer, in diagnosis and in assessing the postoperative bed of ovarian cancer in various types of surgical treatment. 61 women with ovarian cancer who had different histology and various surgical interventions were examined. Keywords: ovarian cancer, chemotherapy, extirpation of the uterus with appendages, histological examination, regression. Relevance of the topic. Ovarian cancer is a common cancer. World statistics show that ovarian cancer is much more common in Western developed countries. Due to the absence of specific symptoms, this disease is often detected in the late stages [2,4]. The problem of ovarian cancer is one of the most difficult in oncology, the mortality from this disease continues to be in the first place [1,5]. Clinicians use radical therapies, including surgical in various volumes, chemotherapeutic and radiotherapy to consolidate complete tumor regression after standard treatment [3,7]. However, the percentage of recurrences of the disease is kept at the level of 70%. The method of ultrasound diagnostics acquires a special urgency in the dynamic observation of patients with ovarian cancer at the end of the treatment or at certain stages [6,7]. Until now, the possibilities of this method in assessing clinical remission after initial treatment have not been sufficiently studied. In practical health care, the ultrasound method is not used in sufficient volume to assess the effectiveness of treatment, identify early relapses. Admissible gross diagnostic errors in the interpretation of postoperative bed conditions. In this connection, the urgency of the scientific work was determined. Purpose of the study. To study the possibilities of the ultrasound method in evaluating the effectiveness of combined treatment of patients with ovarian cancer. Materials and methods of research. The research was conducted in the Andijan regional oncology dispensary and in the clinic at the functional diagnostics department. 61 women with ovarian cancer were examined. Among them, with the II stage of the disease, 25 % of women, with the III stage – 75 %. According to the histological type, the following groups were identified: serous cancer - 52.5 %, mucinous cancer - 31.3 %, endometrioid cancer - 16.4 %. Fig. 1. Diagram 1 Fig. 2. Diagram 2
