ABSTRACT
The method of high-temperature acceptor-catalytic polycondensation has
synthesized new halogen-containing oligosulfones, on the basis of which new
polyethersulfones containing dichloroethylene groups in the main chain were obtained
in the mixture with 4,4'-dihydroxy-2,2-diphenylpropane and dichlorohydrides of
phthalic acids. The peculiarities and optimal conditions for the synthesis of new
oligosulfones and polyethersulfones have been investigated. By using modern research
methods it has been shown that new polyethersulfones are superior to industrial
polysulfones in their basic physicochemical and operational properties.
