The optimum B-series design should be determined from any kind design configurations of the B-series propeller. The aim of this article was to introduce the optimization procedure for determining the optimum design parameters of B-series propeller that would be applied for the improvement of thrust performance of traditional purse seine boat in Central Java Indonesia. The single objective function is adopted with the constraint parameters includes material strength, propeller cavitation and the propeller thrust requirement. Propeller Speed, Diameter and Pitch Ratio are selected as Independent Variables. Key words: GFRP propeller, flexible model and propeller efficiency.
