Hasyim Asy'ari Km. 03, Wonosobo, Jawa Tengah athoillah.adms@gmail.com Absract This sudy included the type of qualitative research at the An-Nawawi Islamic Boarding School in Berjan Purworejo in 2016, by taking primary data through direct interviews with the managers and adminisrators of the educational insitutions. secondary data, obtained through literature that has relevance to research. The insrument used in this sudy was observation, and interviews. The analysis uses deductive, inductive, and descriptive methods. The results of the sudy showed: (1) Congregation is a way of referring to a sysem of meditation and charity, which is a guide in performing worship in accordance with the teachings exemplifed by the Prophet to the teachers who connect continuously without interruption. Qodiriyah Wa Naqsabandiyah congregation is a combination of two congregations, namely Qodiriyah and Naqsabandiyah so that it becomes a new tarekat, founded by an Indonesian Suf named Sheikh Ahmad Khotib Sambas. The teachings of this tarekat generally have fve main points: Firs, sudying science which deals with the implementation of all orders, second; accompanying teachers and friends as closely as possible to see how to do a service, third; abandon all rukhah and ta'wīl to guard and maintain charity perfection, fourth; keep and use time and fll it with all wirid and prayer in order to srengthen the khusyu'an and hūdur, and ffth; curb yourself not to get out of lus and keep yourself awake; (2) Qodiriyah Wa Naqsyabandiyah Congregation at the An- Nawawi Islamic Boarding School in Berjan Purworejo, the subject matter of its teachings has not changed, and the genealogy of its leadership is carried out in sages from KH. Achmad Chalwani, from his father KH. Nawawi, from his father, Shaykh Zarkasyi, who sudied with Sheikh Abd al-Karim, a sudent of the founder of the Sheikh Ahmad Khotib Sambas congregation; (3) The Teachings of the Qodiriyah Wa Naqsyabandiyah Order at an-Nawawi Islamic Boarding School Berjan Purworejo, have a major contribution in shaping the values of the character of the santri, namely: religious, hones, disciplined, hard work, humble, respect for knowledge, and respect and courtesy.
