PARC ARQUEOLÒGIC DE GUISSONA (2011-2014) Josep Guitart a, b , Joaquim Pera a , Núria Romaní b , Núria Padrós a , César Carreras a , Esther Rodrigo b , Josep Ros c , Gemma de Solà c RESUM En el quadrienni 2011-2014, el projecte d’excavació de la ciutat romana de Iesso ha centrat els seus esforços en l’excavació de dues zones del barri septentrional de la ciutat romana: l’entorn periurbà immediat a la muralla i la porta nord, i les termes públiques, ambdues situades al recentment renovat Parc Arqueològic de Guissona. Amb aquest article es presenten les novetats arqueològiques més signifcatives d’aquests dos sectors: a la Zona Muralla, la identifcació d’un edifci extramurs de dues plantes, amb un gran pati obert i un pou d’aigua associats, i a la Zona Termes, el coneixement de la zona enjardinada al nord dels banys públics altimperials, anteriorment ocupada per un barri de cases republicà. ABSTRACT During the last four years 2011-2014, the Roman Town of Iesso Archaeological Project has focused its efforts on excavating two main spots of the northern neighbourhood: the suburban surroundings close to the town defensive wall and the north gate (Muralla area), and the public baths (Termes area), both included in the recently renewed Guissona Archaeological Park. The aim of this paper is to present the latest results of the archaeological research carried out; in the Muralla area, the characterization of a two-storey extramural building, with a front yard and a well; and in the Termes area, the identifcation of a gar- dened area in the north of the Early Imperial public thermae, and a previous Republican neighbourhood.
