El net-art como arte normal Karla Castillo Villapudua Universidad Autónoma de Baja California RESUMEN: El siguiente texto parte de la idea de conceptualizar el net-art dentro de la categoría de arte normal. Esto es, debido a su reciente vinculo con la tecnología – específicamente la computadora- , como medio para efectuar la acción creativa del artista. Se presentan algunos antecedentes dentro del panorama del net-art, así como la construcción del concepto de arte normal para categorizar el arte que se expone on-line y es creado con la ayuda del ordenador. El argumento se gesta bajo la premisa de arte normal como secuencia acumulativa de procesos estéticos que no rompen con la idea de la imagen del mundo de la tradición metafísica occidental. Para finalizar se muestran algunas de las aportaciones del net-art dentro de las características que lo distinguen. Palabras clave: a) Net-art, b) Arte normal, c) Ruptura estética, d) Espacio virtual. ABSTRACT: The following text departs from the idea of conceptualizing net-art on the normal art category. This came from the recent link with the technology, specifically with the computer, as a way to develop the artist’s creative action. There are some precedents inside the net-art, as well as the construction of the concept of normal art, to categorize the art that is exposed online and is created by the computer’s help. This argument is under the premise of normal art as an accumulative sequence of aesthetic processes that do not break with the metaphysical western tradition idea.
