Bunu yaparken de belli bir “tarz”a, tart›ﬂma biçimine ve kurgusal temaya ba¤l› kalmaktan kendilerini alamazlar. Bu anlamda komplo teorileri s›k s›k kendi kendilerine gönderme yapma ve ayn› söylemsel düzlem içinde kalma anlam›nda belli bir “aﬂinal›k” sergilerler. Bu makalede öncelikli amac›m bu söylemsel düzlemin nas›l oluﬂturuldu¤unu irdelemektir. Dolay›s›yla, çok-satan popüler Türkçe kitaplardan örneklerle komplo teorilerinin farkl› siyasi, kültürel ve toplumsal metinlerle iliﬂkiye geçip ayn› platformu nas›l paylaﬂt›¤›n›, özellikle aﬂ›r›-milliyetçi etkilere nas›l aç›k olabildi¤ini inceleyece¤im. Bu ba¤lamda esneklik unsurunu vurgularken, komplocu bir söylemin eklektik New Age (Yeni Ça¤) ak›m›na bile nas›l eklemlenebilece¤ini gösterece¤im. Fragments from a Discourse of Conspiracy: Conspiracy Mentality, Banal Fascism and New Age Abstract Conspiracy theories seek to reveal an ultimate, transcendental “truth” and portray it as an alternative to our understanding of the “world”. Consiparcy theories have adopted their own certain style, distinct in their way of argumentation and their use of specific themes. Often making references to themselves, conspiracy theories retain an element of “familiarity” in the sense that they speak from within the same discursive space. In this article, my primary aim is to analyze the way in which this discursive space is constructed. With special reference to popular best-seller books in Turkey, I elaborate how these theories carry a serious potential to attract ultra-nationalist motives and influences, sharing a common platform and interacting with other political, social or cultural texts. To highlight this element of flexibility, I demonstrate how conspiracism can even be intertwined with the eclectic trend of New Age.
