It significantly promotes transparency, process reliability and reduces the proneness to errors. It also magnifies basic information by uniting functional or technical elements of one information system in an organized approach. Various organizations including universities encountered difficulties in managing a continually expanding volume of data concerning employees, students or its clienteles. This system provides an avenue for off-campus and distant offices to all educational resources and significant information connected through wireless network allowing to store necessary data in a reliable storage or information system for easier access to relevant data. The Multidimensional Application Grade of Interconnected and Locally Administered Services (MAGILAS) helps in interconnecting different offices for the delivery of necessary services to nominated stakeholders. It covers services of the following Service Departments and Offices: Registrar Services; Finance Services; Student Services and Development; Library Services; Research Development and Extension Training Services; Health Services; and Office of the Deans. Generally, the developed system met the objective of the university to produce and disseminate innovations and technologies in promoting sustainable development and streamlining its services. Essential data were gather by means of survey questionnaires given to the head of service units and selected students of the different colleges and department of the campus. The majority of the respondents were strongly agreed on usability level based from the result of System Usability Scale survey due to its respectable rating interpreted as “Excellent”. The outcomes of the management information system were increased in data availability, productivity and reliability. Hence, MAGILAS shows the dynamically inspired integrated software development. INTRODUCTION Information technology is involved in most matters in modern organizations to meet the identical challenges of correctness, promptness, reliability and flexibility. The advances of computer resources increase its power, accuracy and speed in the different fields of automated technology that can provide better access and sharing of significant information. Computer-supported corporate information systems provide the vehicle for connecting business application concepts with information technology. In this day and age, companies need systems to work synchronously to stay ahead of the business activity however, cases where significant increases in cost and resources consumption occurs in systems that are not integrated. Building different systems for a single institution lead always to a very tedious work. Integrated systems aggregate different subsystems or components to work together to achieve an intended purpose. The aggregation of subsystems or component systems that collaborate to deliver overarching functionality has been the focus of most institutions that used technology where providing common repository of data and intensive integration of systems can promotes efficiency and reduces cost. The Independent Systems as compared to Integrated Systems are generally simpler and, as a result, are easier to implement and operate. However, they don’t always meet the real needs of the user. Integrated systems are generally difficult to implement however, it can provide a more useful and responsive service to users. With advances in information and communication technology, information sharing has become more feasible and considered an essential approach to increase efficiency and performance across organizations [1]. Due to system advancement, Information Systems cause likely to be more expensive but shows competitive edge in business [2]. Hence, business organizations have become progressively involved in inter-organizational both strategic alliance and formal equity sharing joint ventures over the past two decades [3]. Thus, information integration gathers information from various sources with lesser data loss due to data overlapping and redundancy [4]. Single workstation allows user on an integrated system to solve problems from own work place in simplifying process and make it easy to manage. High quality integrated information system presented in an organized, timely and easily understood manner is a manifestation to show support in managerial decision-making [5]. Through integrated system, files are confined as group of functionally- oriented databases on direct access storage devices. Most applications are performed by a group of functionally-oriented modules and no longer individual computer programs. Integration, standardization and simplification of numerous business operation improves productivity and working quality are collective features of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems [6]. Many libraries and library consortia also have converted to integrated library systems to better manage and make their collections available for national development in South Africa. A
