Essa historicização é realizada com o objetivo de analisar em uma espacialidade reduzida, mas a médio ou longo prazo, a multiplicidade de mutações e potencialidades dos projetos e as materializações que se desenvolveram naquele espaço suburbano. Do espaço agrícola, cidade termal, subúrbio exclusivo, bairro operário, área de favelas e assentamentos populares a invenções patrimoniais e intervenções de produção de um novo espaço público, Saladillo se configurou como um território híbrido, habitado por múltiplas camadas de espacialização, cujo potencial reside nessa diferença não integrável. Abstract This article reconstructs the history of the spatial configuration of the Saladillo neighborhood in Rosario (Argentina), form the end of 19th Century to the last decades. This historical approach is carried out with the aim to analyze in a reduced spatiality, but in a medium or long term, the multiplicity of facts and potentialities of the projects and materializations that developed in this suburban space. Form agricultural zone, spa town, exclusive suburb, working class neighborhood, slum and popular settlements area to the heritage inventions and the production of new urban public space, Saladillo has been configured as a hybrid territory, inhabited by multiple layers of specialization, whose potential lies in a non-integral difference.
