Autónoma de Madrid andre.benit@uam.es Résumé : Dans ses quatre ouvrages publiés entre 2011 et 2017, l’écrivaine belge Nathalie Skowronek retrace la saga de sa famille : des Juifs polonais qui durent fuir leur pays durant l’entre-deux-guerres pour se réfugier en Belgique où ils exercèrent avec succès le commerce de vêtements. Une famille fortement marquée par la tragédie de la Shoah, mais qui offre deux faces différentes : lumineuse et obscure. Une famille qui lui a taillé « un monde sur mesure » mais dans lequel elle s’ennuie et dont elle réussira à s’extraire grâce à l’écriture. Abstract: In her 4 works published betwen 2011 and 2017, the Belgian writer Nathalie Skowronek recounts the saga of her family : Jewish Poles who had to flee their country between the two World Wars, to take refuge in Belgium where they successfully trade in the clothing business. A family strongly scarred by the Shoah Tragedy but offering two different faces : glowing and obscure. A family that tailored a specific world for the author even if she finds it boring and will succeed in escaping through her writing.
