Non-Lyric Discourses in Contemporary Poetry Das Konzept des „Nicht-Lyrischen“ ver- deutlicht die funktionale Instabilität der Dichtung als Gattung und des Lyrischen als Diskurskategorie der Gegenwart. Die- ser Band untersucht diskursive und kul- turelle Strategien in der zeitgenössischen Dichtung wie die Konstitution neuer Sub- jekte und Subjektivitäten, Dichtung im öf- fentlichen Raum oder hybride und inter- mediale Ausdrucksarten. Die herkömm- liche Kennzeichnung der Dichtung durch das Lyrische wird hinterfragt und defi- nierende Elemente des Nicht-Lyrischen analysiert. Der Band verbindet theoretische und me- thodologische Überlegungen mit Fallstu- dien aus diversen Dichtungs- und Kultur- bereichen – so unter anderem aus Brasi- lien, Spanien, Galicien, Hispanoamerika, Österreich, Polen und Portugal – sowie zu Formen der mündlichen Überlieferung, zu experimenteller und gattungsüber- greifender Dichtung. Summary The concept of “non-lyric” calls attention to the functional instability of poetry as a genre and of lyric as a discursive category today. This volume reflects on new dis- cursive and cultural practices in con- temporary poetry: the constitution of new subjects and new subjectivities, the function of the poetic in public space, enunciative hybridizations and the incorporation of intermediality. Its main purposes are to question the conventional identification of poetic with lyric and to analyze the defining elements of the non-lyric. This volume combines discussion of theoretical and methodological aspects with case studies of various poetic and cultural spheres: the Austrian, Brazilian, Spanish, Galician, Latin American, Polish and Portuguese spheres, oral traditions, and experimental and interartistic poetry, among others. Resumo O concepto do “non-lírico” chama a atención sobre a inestabilidade funcional da poesía como xénero e do lírico como categoría discursiva na actualidade. Este volume reflexiona sobre novas prácticas discursivas e culturais na poesía contem- poránea como a constitución de novos suxeitos e novas subxectividades, a funci- ón do poético no espazo público, as hibri- dacións enunciativas ou a incorporación da intermedialidade. A posta en causa da convencional identificación entre o poético e o lírico, así como a análise dos elementos definitorios do non-lírico, constitúen os principais fíos condutores. A discusión sobre aspectos teóricos e metodolóxicos combínase con estudos de caso de ámbitos poéticos e culturais diversos: austríaco, brasileiro, español, galego, hispanoamericano, polaco, por- tugués, as tradicións orais, a poesía ex- perimental e interartística, entre outros.
