We all taught from elementary school up to university. In teaching English, there are four language skills. They are listening, speaking, reading and writing. This article will discussed about the effect of ising digital tools in writing. The one popoular aoolication in writing is Wattpad. Wattpad is a community for readers and writers where they can read and write many genres, fiction, nonfiction, spiritual, etc. Therefore, the teachers can use this application to teach writing. It will motivate the students to express their ideas in writing. The students are more motivated because their writing would be read by many people all over the world. Some readers give comment on their writing which help them be better in their next writing. Based on the above results, theconcludes that the use of Wattpad application as media in writing can improve the students’ learning motivation in writing and the writing skill.
