It provides us with a feeling of accomplishment, acknowledgment and above all a source of earning to fulfill our fundamental needs. Worklife balance is complex, as work can meddle in family life and family life can meddle in work prompting disagreement. The periphery between work and family life is progressively getting blurred. Research on work-life balance (WLB) shows significant problems of combining family desires with paid work. The aim of this research is to study the elements of work-life balance (WLB) of Academicians in the Higher Education sector in Rajasthan. This research intends to discover the impact of variables like (working hours, workload, leave policies, work arrangements, reward schemes etc.) on work life balance. This study adapts explanatory research design and primary data is collected through questionnaires from 500 respondents. This research found that elements of work life balance have significant impact on the Work Life Balance among the academicians in higher education sector. They realize that one single salary is insufficient to run the family. Work and family, together, assume a critical aspect in their lives and their upkeep together is a test. Individual life can be all the more requesting on the off chance that they have children or dependent family members. Women have a more prominent task to carry out in family life. Everywhere throughout the world, regardless of family structure and culture, women are the basic caterers for both household and childcare responsibilities. They need to release the obligations of kid bearing and raising as they attempt to develop their vocations. However, today no educated and working females want to exit their profession for child bearing and rearing. In India, women take help of their mothers or other relatives to deal with their infant when they are at jobs. In some cases they are compelled to take help from some workers like Aya or caretaker.
