DIVISÕES NOS SENTIDOS DE ‘MULHER’: ARGUMENTAÇÃO, ENUNCIAÇÃO E POLÍTICO Divisions in the Meanings of ‘Woman’: Argumentation, Enunciation, and Politics DOI: 10.14393/LL63-v36n1-2020-6 Renata Ortiz Brandão * RESUMO: Este trabalho apresenta uma análise semântico-argumentativa da palavra mulher em materialidades enunciativas distintas: 1) o dizer da senadora do PSL Soraya Thronicke, presidente do grupo PSL Mulher, e 2) o dizer da Rede NAMI, uma ONG formada por grafiteiras que propõe ações para o combate da violência de gênero e para o desenvolvimento do protagonismo social da mulher. O objetivo é refletir sobre o político no funcionamento da linguagem, a partir de uma posição materialista, e compreender as divisões de sentido na tomada da palavra, que se dá no confronto entre os diferentes lugares a partir dos quais os falantes são agenciados a dizer, bem como entre filiações a posições ideológicas distintas. Ao analisar a distribuição desigual entre os modos de dizer da/sobre a mulher, lançamos luz para o embate entre os sentidos produzidos pela normatividade e pelos movimentos sociais de resistência, como a Rede NAMI. ABSTRACT: This article reports on a semantic-argumentative analysis of the Portuguese-language word mulher [woman] in different enunciative materialities: 1) in the utterances of Soraya Thronicke, a senator from PSL (a far right political party) and president of the group PSL Mulher, and 2) in the utterances of Rede NAMI, a NGO of female graffiti artists which proposes actions for fighting against gender-based violence and fomenting the social leadership of women. The aim is to reflect upon the political functioning of language from a materialistic perspective and understand the different meanings of the word in function of the dispute between the speakers’ different social places and their filiations to distinct ideological positions. By analyzing the unequal distribution of the ways of saying of/about women, we shed light on the opposition between the normativity- driven meanings and those produced by social movements of resistance, such as Rede NAMI.
