Paradiso Perduto Le origini di Wonder Woman ILEANO BONFÀ V2 13 MAR 2020 (V1 31 MAG 2018) https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.1254050 ABSTRACT This paper describes the creation of the comics character Wonder Woman by the psychologist William Moulton Marston in the 1940s. Wonder Woman roots can be traced back to the american feminism of the 1910-20s. The analysis of selected Wonder Woman stories shows their connection with the women’s condition in the world war II. The spirit of the first stories surfaces again in the second wave of the feminist movement and in the popular culture. (ita) Viene descritta la creazione del personaggio dei fumetti Wonder Woman da parte dello psicologo William Moulton Marston negli anni ’40 del ‘900. Le radici ideali del personaggio Wonder Woman si possono rintracciare nel femminismo americano degli anni dieci-venti del ‘900. Le storie di Wonder Woman analizzate mostrano una relazione con la condizione delle donne americane durante la seconda guerra mondiale. Lo spirito delle prime storie riaffiora di nuovo nella seconda ondata del femminismo e nella cultura di massa.
