ABSTRACT
Economists and strategic analysts alleged that CPEC is a game changer project not
only for Pakistan and China but for the whole region in explicit and for the world in
wide-ranging. It has recognized likely future markets and invested generously to
bring them together in close link. This paper analyzes the impact of this initiative on
the respective regional and individual cultures and societies and discusses their
possible implications for development. The study was conducted on the basis of data
collected from World Value Survey and estimated results show that the cultural values
of this region appeared to have a robust positive and conducive to economic growth in
East Asian Countries. These values may be helpful for Pakistani to grow economic
activities. On the basis of these findings, we can say that East Asian model of economic
growth is a model based on moral values which has its foundations in Confucius
teaching
