Shankar Ram UG Scholar, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Sri Sairam Engineering College, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India ABSTRACT In modern days, rapid urbanization and the growth of motor vehicles cause a serious consequence on the environment and affects human life, particularly in India most of the cities are being suffered by pollutions. The proposed system allows people to go to nearby places using modern walkway without using automobiles. So we develop the modern walkway road transportation system model to reduce consequences on the environment. The model consists of a horizontal pedestrian motor-driven chain that is used in roadside across the world going pedestrians in traffic locations, and this model also uses solar energy through a computer-controlled mode that helps in energy conservation. The system model aims to minimize traffic and pollution in metropolitan cities, cities, and towns in India due to the usage of vehicles. Key words: Air pollution, Conveyor Belt, Road Transportation, Solar Energy, Walkway. Cite this Article: Dr. M. Ramalingam, D. Gomathi and R.
