ABSTRACT
Bandwidth, energy and distance are the major criteria for identifying a reliable
route from source to destination in Wireless Sensor Networks. Limited bandwidth,
energy failure and long communication range are the challenging factors for the
whole system thereby decreases the rate of packet delivery. Therefore detecting the
routes with dynamic bandwidth nodes with high signal strength and low energy mortal
rate is essential for selecting the highly reliable route. By using the swarm intelligence
technique named Adaptive Particle Swarm Optimization highly reliable routes are
selected for data transmission. Therefore Reliable Routing using APSO is proposed
here. Here Gbest nodes are identified using node fitness rate measurement. Increasing
network bandwidth simultaneously increases the delivery rates of the packet.
Therefore, the nodes present in the network should manage the signal strength, energy
level and should able to detect an efficient path with dynamic bandwidth for
throughput enhancement of the network. Simulation analysis is carried out for both
proposed and conventional in order to prove the efficiency of the proposed scheme.
