Term ecosystem became buzz word in most of the economy today. Instead of popularity of term ecosystem it is ambiguously defined. In recent years lot of work has been carried out with respect to entrepreneurial ecosystem. Researcher has found work related to the entrepreneurial ecosystem, but work related to Indian context is lacking. This is an attempt to explain term ecosystem, entrepreneurial ecosystem, and to describe various aspects of entrepreneurial ecosystem. This study is based on the secondary data analysis, for this purpose last ten years research paper, government reports, & books have been selected on the basis of their usefulness in the context. This review has considered most reputed journals available, such as springer, emerald publishing, Harvard Business Review. Indian work has also considered in the review process. Except from reviews of last ten years work, research has also included some important theories related to entrepreneurial ecosystem, prior then the time frame of review. After review, researcher found dynamic nature of Indian ecosystem which included various new concepts, policies, institutional & industrial support. Introduction Today entrepreneurship is buzz word in the emerging economies. Economies have considered term entrepreneurship as growth indicator; as it provide economic growth by new start-ups and improve job ratio in the country (Isenberg, 2008). The journey of entrepreneurship is not isolated or it not working in vacuum, it requires support from various institutions and individuals (Jha, 2018). These institutions and individuals refer to Entrepreneurial Ecosystem which is identified as certain actors and factors for increasing entrepreneurship in the country (Entezari, 2015). Present study has tried to explain Indian entrepreneurial ecosystem with the review of relevant literature. Author has selected research articles, government reports, and data from academic institutions. Review has included last ten years research papers, their methodology, and findings.
