Globalization, on the other hand, started to make itself felt strongly after the 1980s as a phenomenon that eliminates the distance with its reality that transcends borders in economic, political and social terms to this isolation of the nation state. In a century where there were debates such as the full nation-state disappearing or evolving into regional nation- states, the Covid-19 pandemic had a serious blow to this and imprisoned both states and people in Öz Ulus devletin doğuşu devletleri, sınırları belirli bir toprak parçası üzerinde ve merkezi bir iktidarın gücü ile diğer devletlerden belirgin bir şekilde birbirinden izole olmuş devletlerin ortaya çıkmasını sağladı. Küreselleşme ise ulus devletin bu izolasyonuna ekonomik, siyasi ve toplumsal anlamda sınırları aşan gerçekliği ile mesafeyi ortadan kaldıran bir olgu olarak 1980’lerden sonra güçlü bir şekilde kendini hissettirmeye başladı.
