GAME OF THRONES AND THE CONCEPT OF KARMA ABSTRACT: The famous American TV series Game of Thrones has surely created a wide attention around the globe, becoming one of the highest budgets TV series of all time. The present article creatively teases out one of its main features i.e. the philosophy of karma. No doubt the entire fabric of the series is woven with the fine threads of karma, which we can easily find from the earliest episode of the first season when an innocent deserter of Night Watch put to death by Edderd Stark surely justified by his (Edderd Stark’s) own death at the hand of a prosecutor in the next season, to the end of the season 8 when the Dragon queen Daenerys Targaryen was killed for her extremism by her spouse/beloved nephew Jon Snow. (Key words: karma, philosophy, theology) INTRODUCTION From the earliest episode to the end of the series intends to show human life is determine to perceive according to the law of Karma. Regardless of rich-poor, educated-uneducated, martial- nonmartial, high and low class everybody has to abide the philosophy of karma. It is evident from the death of the innocent deserter of Night Watch by the Eddard Stark who was highly inclined towards morality and having high ethics of a martial law yet he failed to realize the true power of Karma which got him killed by the second season in the same way he killed the innocent deserter (i.e. decapitation).
