TARKA is a quarterly journal that explores yoga philosophy, contemplative studies, and the world’s wisdom and
esoteric traditions. The journal’s guiding mission is to dissolve the institutionalized boundaries between scholarly,
devotional, and embodied methods, in an effort to forge a new paradigm of cross-disciplinary and cross-cultural
research and practice.
Embodied Philosophy is an online educational platform for contemplative studies and wisdom teachings. In addition to
the TARKA journal, EP publishes the CHITHEADS podcast, quarterly online conferences, educational videos and resourc-
es, as well as hosts courses, seminars, and continuing education trainings for seekers, scholars, therapists, teachers, and
contemplative facilitators from around the world.
