India shows steady growth pattern in 20 sub-domains. Analysis projects contribute much higher than other countries in early nineties vis-à-vis late nineties. English is the predominant among Indian, Pakistan, France and German authors and majority of literature finds published in journals. Nanoscience and nanotechnology, remote sensing, geochemistry and geophysics, flui d and pl asma physi cs emerge as strong research fields in physics across the countr ies. The US is at the top among collaborators with India, France and Germany. Keywords: Physics research output, Developing countries, Developed countries, Physics literature. 43 CHAPTER
