Por ello, el objetivo de nuestra investigación cualitativa fue analizar los imaginarios de maternidad presentes en los espacios universitarios donde se desa- rrollan las académicas de alto rendimiento. Ellas representan un grupo destacado de mujeres reconocidas por su trayectoria académica y producción científica en las universidades y que, en el caso de las académicas entrevistadas, cuentan con el reconocimiento del Sistema Nacional de Investigadores (sni) del Consejo Nacio- nal de Ciencia y Tecnología (conacyt).
