High level of employee engagement help organization to reap the benefits associated with the organization. Engaged employee does the job with enthusiasm leads to increase job satisfaction. Job satisfaction is a positive behavior of employee. Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to identify and examine the impact of Employee engagement drivers in increasing job satisfaction and also the mediating relationship between drivers of Employee engagement and Employee retention. Methodology: Employees of Startups in Bangalore were contacted to test the study hypotheses. This study was carried out through the survey. Questionnaire was prepared based on various empirical studies. JAMOVI was used to analyze the obtained data. The techniques of reliability, correlation and multiple regression analysis were used to find the relationship between study variables. Findings: The major findings of this study show that job satisfaction acts as a strong mediator between employee engagement and employee retention. Introduction In today’s business world, Organizations are forced to work within an environment full of hyper-change and competition. These factors forced the organization to give more attention to their employees, working on keeping them engaged and satisfied (Hamed Al- sharafi, Mohd Ezani and syed shah, 2018). Lack of talented employees creates more pressure on the organization to take steps in retaining talent.
