Abstract: This paper looks at theoretical and empirical study regarding agricultural innovation adoption over the last
ten years and the effects of technology policy interventions in India, especially in the region Egra subdivision, Purba
Medinipur, West Bengal. The study of the Green Revolution cycle’s final stage shows that the agricultural and
climate conditions are the most important determinants of variations in acceptance rates at the location of the
population. To better understand diffusion patterns, a relation between micro-adoption and the aggregate diffusion
process must be strengthened. Several studies have shown that the results of policy interventions in order to
encourage technology adoption depend on the extent and length of the policy intervention, technology type and
market structure.

1. Introduction
To modify their actions, it is not enough to provide farmers with details. If the farmer is prepared for the adjustment
in favour, he cannot use the data he got in order to change his behaviour[1][3]. Farmers can be transparent or discreet
in their conduct. This was explained by Ramsey et al. [2] by classifying the acceptance of technologies into two
groups, namely action and cognitive adaptedness. The use of actions (overt) requires a real implementation of
innovation while cognitive adoption (covert) entails the development of human information and objective appraisal
of innovation. Farmers' principles play an important part in judging creativity psychologically. Given the above
reference context, the use of a specific invention can be hypothesised to rely on the farmers' values. These "values act
as standards upon which evaluations are made; the criteria by which both ends and means are chosen"[4]. Based on
his principles, influence, conduct guide, and influence, he sets standards since he is emotionally dedicated to these
criteria. Different research studies aimed at assessing the farmers' values and at their adoption actions and at
recognising the role of values in adoption behaviour. However, to generalise, the quest for a large spectrum of values
and checking their interaction with the conduct of adoption are important. To understand the principles belonging to
the farm management functions and assess its relative effects on the farmers' adoption behaviour, this research was
carried out.
