ABSTRACT
The ethnic minorities have faced a great number of difficulties so far. While the
socio-economic infrastructure is really poor, they mainly depend on the self-sufficient
economy. People’s wellbeing suffers from challenges especially in the remote areas,
which are humorously known as " the spotlight of the top poverty of the nation". Their
opportunity to access education and healthcare is rare: the illiteracy rate of children
is so high, the facilities for teaching and learning are poor and so are the health care
services. This article focuses on the results and the situations of how ethnic people
access the education and healthcare services, then proposes some solutions to help the
ethnic minorities to access education and healthcare services in the coming time.
Key words: service; education; healthcare; ethnic minorities; solution.
