MARTINEZ | 10SA TASK 3 | November 23, 2016 INTRODUCING A GUEST SPEAKER Occasion: Symposium on Career Guidance Speaker: 4 th Year Student Ladies and Gentlemen, fellow students, good morning! College and job life is at a far distance, but as young as today, we are pressured to disnguish certain careers for our desired future. We are typically on our way to the bigger world, and by this we are given a responsibility to make more of those educaonal and occupaonal life choices. This symposium on Career Guidance aims to educate and guide us students towards the different educaonal and occupaonal choices we are to face, and it helps broaden our knowledge and understanding regarding the planned career we are to choose. Our guest speaker for this morning is known for her work in humanitarian aid. Her experiences as a teacher, supervisor, and lecturer allowed her to have the wider scope of knowledge regarding choices and careers. Dr. Zafra is a Bachelor of Arts major in English, and a Doctoral in Philosophy major in English at the University of San Jose-Recoletos; at the same me, she is also a MA-Religious Educaon at the Mother of Life Center, Novaliches, Quezon City. She is the first lay woman theologian, a MA Theology major in Systemac/Moral Theology at the Seminario Mayor de San Carlos, Cebu City. Presently, she is the supervisor of the USJR Instute of Non-formal Educaon and Community Outreach Program (INFECOP), and a lecturer of the Philippine Catholic HIV- AIDS Network (PhilCHAN). She is one outstanding, caring, genuine and successful woman. On a final note, she is one charming and fascinang individual.
