61 UDK 791.43 (61-100) Dubravka Valić Nedeljković * Gramatika filmskog jezika i kognitivni razvoj Summary The everyday life shows us that each new encounter with a film message is a new challenge and new experience which demands an always new effort to establish communication by means of a complex aesthetic message, to make the processes of identification and projection function as well as to decode all the influx of messages and the intantions of the author. Sometimes it's quite simple, whereas some other time the message can't reach the viewer. This experimental research warned of the typical sample of incommunicability with emphasis on stages of cognitive development of children and young people, from three to twenty-one years of age, which could be removed at the stage of creating a movie if the authors were aware of limitations imposed by age, as well as of those imposed by content.
