ABSTRACT
The purpose of the study is to investigate the role of different dimensions of servant
leadership like love, altruism, empowerment, trust and service for employees’
performance. Data from 230 employees of University of Sargodha, Sargodha were
collected. A structured questionnaire consisting of several statements measuring scales
was used and the participants were approached personally. Different statistical tools
e.g., Confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling were used to
analyze data and for hypothesis testing. The results report that empowerment has no
significant relation with employee performance, while other dimensions of servant
leadership love, altruism, trust and service show a positive significant contribution to
improve employees’ performance. This study is very helpful to provide solid strategies
for the management that would be very beneficial for the educational sector and use
