Sukarami, Palembang, Sumatera Selatan, 30961 1 suciryski29@gmail.com 2 jhellyananda@gmail.com 3 haniadwa23@gmail.com ABSTRACT The industrial revolution 4.0 has a considerable impact on life today, such as information technology which is developing very rapidly, with the development of this technology, it requires superior and globally competitive human resources. In this case, of course, someone must understand information technology, the use of information technology and knowledge of the 4.0 industrial revolution. Therefore the researchers conducted a study on the readiness of the Palembang Aviation Polytechnic cadets in facing this 4.0 industrial revolution, because this school is one of the schools that has just opened diploma education, and the industrial revolution 4.0 is something that is very important for learning and supplies for them to work later. This researcher uses a qualitative approach with a qualitative descriptive data analysis model. For data collection using questionnaires, observation and literature study. Furthermore, after obtaining the data, the researcher analyzes the data, then the results of the analysis are concluded in a percentage which is explained using qualitative analysis to explain the percentage results. The results of this study are that 120 cadets are ready to face the 4.0 industrial revolution with a 98.3% presentation, which is proven by the analysis that almost all cadets understand technology, can use technology such as information, for example various learning support applications and many other supporting applications.
