Gahlot Indian Agricultural Statistics Research Institute, Library Avenue, New Delhi - 110 012 ABSTRACT In agricultural experiments, neighbour effects from the adjacent units pays a significant role in the precise comparison among treatment effects. In this paper, the analytical procedure in agricultural experiments under block design setup when neighbour effects also affects the response of a particular plot of a block has been explained. Here, neighbour effects up to distance 2 (second order) have been considered. The method of analysis has been illustrated using hypothetical data for 11 genotypes. The result shows the significance of incorporating all the neighbour effects up to distance 2 in the analysis. Further, multiple range comparison among genotype effects in the presence of all other effects using Tukey-Kramer test was performed using SAS 9.3 izLrkouk fdlh ijh{k.k ds varxZr fd;s x;s iz;ksx vkSj mu ij vk/kkfjr fu"d"kZ fdlh oS Kkfud vuqla/kku dh eq[; fo'ks "krk,s a gks rh gS aA fdlh ijh{k.k dh vfHkdYiuk] mlds mn~ns ';] mldh ykxr o miyC/k lalk/kuks a ij fuHkZj djrh gS A fdlh ifjdYiuk dk Lohdk;Z Lrj dh 'kqºrk ds lkFk ijh{k.k djus ds fy, ,d ijh{k.kdrkZ dks iz;ksx dh xbZ vfHkdYiuk ds vk/kkj ij izkIr vkWdM+ksa dk fo'ys"k.k djuk gksrk gSA vr% fdlh ijh{k.k dh vfHkdYiuk dk pquko rFkk ml vfHkdYiuk ij vk/kkfjr ijh{k.k ls izkIr vkWdM+ksa dk fo'ys"k.k fdlh oSKkfud vuqla/kku ds vko';d ?kVd gSA oSKkfud ijh{k.kksa dh vfHkdYiuk dk pq uko djrs le; ijh{k.k lkexz h dh vleka xrk dh leL;k ij vf/kd /;ku nsus dh vko';drk gS A lEiw.kZ ijh{k.k lkexzh dh rqyuk eas ,d CykWd ds varxZr ijh{k.k izkIr % uoEcj] 2014 Lohd` r % fnlEcj] 2014 9
