Abstract
In the Vietnamese political system, the Communist Party of Vietnam is the only
political party in power. In this article, we focus on clarifying some theoretical and
practical issues related to the ruling mode of the Communist Party of Vietnam, in
which mainly focusing on analyzing the concept of ruling mode, the current status
of ruling mode of the Communist Party of Vietnam, and the solutions to continue
renewing the ruling mode of the Communist Party of Vietnam in the coming time.

1 Introduction
The Communist Party of Vietnam was established in early 1930, the result of the
combination of Marxism—Leninism, Ho Chi Minh ideology with the Vietnamese
patriotic movement and worker movement in the late nineteenth century and early
twentieth century. The birth of the Vietnamese Communist Party has created a turn-
ing point in the Vietnamese revolutionary movement history. Under the leadership
of the Party, the Vietnamese revolution achieved many great achievements. After the
victory of the August Revolution in 1945, the Vietnamese Communist Party became
the ruling party.
It can be said that the ruling mode of the Communist Party of Vietnam is an
interesting topic that attracts researchers and scientists. There have been a number
of studies on the ruling mode of the Communist Party of Vietnam. However, many
theoretical and practical issues about the ruling mode of the Communist Party of
Vietnam need to be further clarifed. This article will answer the questions: What
