Many educational of institutions in Indonesia implement an online learning system through various social media applications such as e-learning or known as E-University, Zoom Application, WhatsApp, Email, Telegram and so on. In face-to-face learning, students can meet directly with educators. Therefore, social interaction can still occur in the classroom where students still need guidance in learning. Students can interact with educators and their friends so that students will immediately get feedback from the learning results. So online learning is a new innovation in the current Pandemic era. This activity triggers both positive and negative impacts for educators, students and the institution itself. These changes have implications for various academic fields of society, which are thought to have an impact on psychological conditions. The Heutagogy approach is in line with today's technological capabilities where everyone can easily find the information needed through a network that is connected globally. Heutagogy can also support the achievement of competencies needed in the 21st century, namely Critical thinking & Problem solving, Creativity, Communication, Collaboration, Compassion and competition so that students can be better prepared to face their future which is a new world whose conditions will definitely be very different from conditions that exist today. Heutagogy will provide occupation to students to make choices freely and in accordance with what is learned and how to learn it.
