Especially in the introduction of hijaiyah letters, which are intended for early childhood. The current education system is very monotonous and less attractive so student learning interest is less effective. Often the teacher feels difficulties in determining the learning style that can increase students' interest in learning. For the community not a few Muslims who understand about the letter hijaiyah. Hijaiyah letters must be studied, especially all Muslims starting from early childhood. letter hijaiyah the first step is learned to facilitate reading the Qur'an. So with the use of augmented reality technology, educators are able to provide and foster student learning interest, especially in early childhood. In designing this AR using a card called the magic card. The work system of this educational application uses a magic card that already contains an attractive hijaiyah letter design, then the magic card containing the hijaiyah letter is given a marker and will later be captured via an Android-based smartphone and gives the hijaiyah letter object in the form of a virtual 3d object and provides mention of the letter. INTRODUCTION The development of increasingly sophisticated and rapid technology in the era of globalization provides many benefits in all social aspects. The development of this technology also greatly influences the behavior of people's thinking and behavior patterns. Smartphone is an advanced technology that is present in the community. Almost all levels of society, both adults, teenagers and children have smartphones that can help with several daily activities. One of the activities used by the community is learning through the educational application available on the smartphone. Hijaiyah are Arabic letters that must be understood by a Muslim to help read the Qur'an. In early childhood education the learning system carried out by teachers in the introduction of hijaiyah letters still uses a manual system that uses colored paper that forms one of the letters hijaiyah. The basic key in reading the Holy Qur'an and Hadith is being able to recognize the hijaiyah letters as a Muslim's need to understand the two basic guidelines of his life. Letter hijaiyah or often referred to as Arabic has 29 letters. The hijaiyah letter is part of the Arabic language used for the main language of the Qur'an and Hadith. In the Imroatun Study entitled Learning Hijaiyah Letters for Early Childhood explained that there were still many people who were not smart in reading Al-Qur'an even though the method of learning the introduction of hijaiyah letters had been applied to early childhood education (PAUD), Kindergarten Education (TK). In the 2000s the percentage of students who were able to read the Qur'an ranged from 30% [1]. Therefore, researchers are interested in making an application for hijaiyah recognition education with magic reality documented technology that provides ease in hijaiyah letter recognition starting from the explanation of letters and sounds of letter pronunciation especially in early childhood education environments. Utilization of augumented reality technology is able to combine projected virtual objects into real objects with 2 or 3 dimensional displays. The use of AR technology makes it easy for users to use to work on something interesting. This AR method has advantages in the interactive part because it uses markers to display 3-dimensional objects directed to a smartphone camera [2]. . II. EASE OF USE An AR or Augmented reality refers to the augmentation of virtual objects onto the video stream view of the real physical world, is a technology that provides a unique interactive interface in which user can work and interact simultaneously with the real world and virtual objects in a natural way[3]. Augmented Reality is one effort in combining the virtual world and the real world that is designed through the help of computers to produce a very thin relationship between the two[4].
