SHOLAR SPORT. A PROBLEM BETWEEN EDUCATION, CULTURE AND SOCIAL PRACTICES. Prf. Dr. Manuel Vizuete Carrizosa Extremadura University – Spain mvizuete@unex.es ABSTRACT Developed societies of the twenty-first century are facing increasingly morbid obesity pandemic aggressive children and adolescents, which threatens to become a serious public health problems of thousands of coronary patients and diabetics, due to sedentary life models. The low valuation of physical education and sport in school ages is earned for educational policies in developed countries, have placed them unable to react to these new problems to threats of physical inactivity and poor quality of life for millions of people the medium term. The main problem is the difficulty of understanding how to articulate the educational approach of physical activities which by their very nature are between education and culture, and which by their dynamic action contain key educational elements such as values, anti- values, educational approaches, scientific principles, culture and folklore, and whose ultimate effectiveness for good health and quality of life depends on content learning and school social practices of physical activity in childhood.
