However, it must work on the transiton towards sustainability and resilience in the face of climate change since its growth implies a high consumpton of resources and contributon of greenhouse gases. The need to establish practces and strategies that encompass the dimensions of sustainability (environment, society, and economy) and work towards a circular economy is imminent. Currently, there is litle guidance in the framework beyond certfcatons as well as in planning, management, and evaluaton tools for implementaton. Diferent studies vary in the number of phases and consideratons for projects. Therefore, the research work proposes the development of a unifed roadmap, with defned phases, practces, and indicators based on principles inspired by nature such as biomimicry (Greek words: “bio” means life and “mimesis”, imitaton) and focused on a circular economy, which was validated by constructon professionals where strengths, opportunites, skills, and threats were identfed with a high level of acceptance. This contributes to strengthen the feld of sustainable constructon project management and sets a precedent for Panama with the innovatve approaches of biomimicry and circular economy. Keywords: biomimicry, circular economy, project management, roadmap, sustainable constructon.
