Form and style are used as starting points to find out the exploration of stylistics film. Data information is identified based on similarities with the cinema movements that influence it. Subjectivity as an approach to the descriptive process by conducting interpretative analysis. The results showed that Cinema Verite and Italian Neorealism influenced the typical stylistic formula in the ‘Keramat’ film, especially supporting the characteristics of the horror genre including: creating a tense, frightening, and terror effect, also visualizing the concept of the realism of the events filmed. Keywords: film, Keramat, form and style, stylistic, and realism. ABSTRAK Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan eksplorasi stilistik film Keramat. Form dan style dijadikan titik awal untuk mengetahui eksplorasi stilistik film. Informasi data diidentifikasi berdasarkan kesamaan dengan gerakan sinema yang mempengaruhinya. Subjektivitas sebagai pendekatan pada proses deskriptif dengan melakukan analisis interpretatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Cinema Verite dan Neorealisme Italia mempengaruhi formula khas stilistik dalam film Keramat, terutama mendukung karakteristik genre horor meliputi: menciptakan efek menegangkan, menakutkan, dan teror, serta mewujudkan konsep realisme peristiwa yang difilmkan Kata kunci: film, Keramat, form dan style, stilistik, dan realisme 1. PENDAHULUAN Perkembangan film Indonesia pasca reformasi terus menunjukkan peningkatan baik secara kuantitas maupun kualitas.
